Redeemer’s Light launched as a “parachute drop” new church start in Mooresville, North Carolina in September of 2003. Despite its meager resources and limited outside funding,
Relight has developed a reputation in the community as a church focused on reaching outside its walls to both show and share the message of God’s redeeming love.
Since its inception over five years ago, Redeemer’s Light United Methodist Church has remained focused on a mission to reach the unchurched and help them become faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

Redeemer’s Light is strategically located within the fastest growing area of North Carolina, the Lake Norman region just north of Charlotte, and is uniquely
positioned to attract and reach those who may feel overwhelmed by or out of touch with a traditional church environment. Relight offers an authentic, yet casual, ‘come as you are’ atmosphere that is truly not
available at any other church in the Mooresville area.
Our Core Beliefs...
It is important to note that, although the atmosphere is casual, the message is bible-based and relevant to today. More than a ‘feel good’ message, Relight offers an authentic message of faith, hope, and love.

Biblical Authority - we will evaluate all that we do against the authority of the Holy Scripture.
The Power of Prayer - we will ask God's guidance in all we do. We will not act without prayer.
Christian Integrity - we will maintain a gossip-free zone, and we will address all conflicts directly with those involved in a non-confrontational manner, speaking the truth in love.
Social Diversity - we will maintain an accepting environment for all people.
Discipleship- we will continuously seek the knowledge that allows us to grow in our faith.
Mission Outreach - we will reach outside our church walls to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to relieve suffering in our community, nation, and the world.
Excellence in All We Do - we will aspire to achieve excellence in all we do for the Kingdom of God.
